Contest Rules

- Contest Period:
The “MyWalkersMoment” contest begins at 9:00:01 pm EST on Nov 13, 2017. and Concludes at TBD.
- Eligibility:
Canadian resident 13+
- Sponsor and Administrator:
The Walker Chocolate Company LTD. – 4391 Harvester Rd. – Burlington, ON L7L 4X1
- How to enter:
No purchase necessary. To enter the contest, share a picture or video of your moment having one of Walker’s Chocolates products with the hashtag #MyWalkersMoment and/or tagging the company’s page.
The sponsor will not be responsible for late, lost, misdirected, stolen, ineligible, destroyed o delayed Entries. Proof of submitting an Entry is not proof of receipt.
- Prizes:
There is one prize of CAD$25 gift card. The coupon can be redeemed at Walker’s Chocolates on-line store (https://www.walkerschocolates.ca/) or at any of Walker’s Chocolates Stores.
If you are eligible to win the prize, you can either choose pick your order at any of Walker’s Chocolates stores located in Hamilton, Burlington or Oakville (no additional cost) or ship it to an address of your preference (the prize doesn’t cover shipping cost ).
- Awarding of Prizes
The odds of winning a Prize depend on the number of eligible Entries received during the Contest Period.
THE POTENTIAL PRIZE WINNER IS SUBJECT TO VERIFICATION BY SPONSOR AND ADMINISTRATOR WHOSE DECISIONS ARE FINAL AND BINDING IN ALL MATTERS RELATED TO THE CONTEST. Potential winners may be contacted via Facebook and/or email. The potential winner must respond within seven (7) days. Failure to respond to the message within seven (7) days of notification will result in disqualification.
To claim his/her prize, each potential winner must complete the information required (including full mailing address), successfully answer, unaided, a mathematical skill-testing question, and if required, complete, sign, and return a declaration of compliance with the Rules and a release (including a publicity release).
If a potential winner does not comply with these Rules, cannot be contacted, fails to respond within the specified time, fails to correctly answer the skill-testing question, fails to provide the required information or documentation or if the prize, prize notification or
verification is returned as undeliverable, the potential winner will be disqualified and he/she forfeits the prize. A potential winner is not a winner of any prize, even if the website should so indicate, unless and until the potential winner has been confirmed a winner in accordance with these Rules. Sponsor and Administrator will not accept screenshots or other evidence of winning in lieu of its validation process. Any notification that occurs after the System has failed for any reason is deemed defective and is void and will not be honored.
Prizes must be accepted as awarded. Prizes may not be refunded or transferred and are not convertible to cash. Sponsor and Administrator reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to substitute all or a portion of a Prize with a Prize of equal or greater value for any reason. Unclaimed Prizes will not be reissued. Total retail value of the prize is CAD$25.00. By accepting a Prize, winners authorize the Sponsor to broadcast, publish and disseminate their names, city and province of residence, photographs, likenesses, comments and voices, in connection with any promotion or publicity at no further compensation to the winners. In the event a potential winner is disqualified or not
eligible, he/she shall not be awarded the Prize and that Prize may not be awarded, and Sponsor shall be fully and completely released and discharged from any liability or responsibility in this regard.
